Obituary for Annie Doris Lockwood
Obituary
On February 17th, Mrs. Annie Doris Lockwood was called home by her savior, our lord Jesus Christ. Annie was born to the late Cornelious and Ida Mae Mills of Bainbridge, GA and was the second oldest of 10 children.
At an early age, Annie confessed her life to Jesus Christ and maintained that devotion throughout her life.
Annie lived her life in Bainbridge, graduating from Bainbridge High School and afterwards taking on a career in the restaurant industry and holding part time jobs in retail. She eventually met the love of her life, the late Mr. Curtis Randolph Lockwood and spent over 30 years together in marriage. She loved to relax at home watching her favorite tv shows, knitting, reading her bible, and writing in her journals.
She leaves to cherish her memory, God son, Derrick Mills (Tina), God daughter, Misty Love, four stepchildren, Rico Sapp, Shannon Sapp (Nora), Jan Calloway, and Jennifer Lockwood and 6 brothers and sisters, Catherine Mills, Barbara Mills, Ida Lou Gibson (Tyrone), Joe Mills (Janice), Larry Mills, and Cornelious Mills Jr.
Annie will also be cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
