Obituary

Ather Mae Jackson Osborne was born on September 19, 1935, in Bainbridge, GA, to Oliver David (OD) Jackson and Essie Mae Simmons Jackson she was youngest of 3 children including William and Freddie Jackson who preceded her in death.

She attended Hutto High School where she received her diploma from the Decatur County School system in 1954.

She was united in holy matrimony to Jesse Lee Osborne in 1954.

Ather attended Ford Chapel AME Church and she faithfully served until hurricane Michael forced her to leave Bainbridge, GA.

She is survived by her 4 children: Patricia Osborne in Atlanta, GA; Cheryl Kellam (Herbert) Albany, GA; Arlene Thomas (Fred) Antioch, TN, and Arlan D. Osborne in Atlanta, GA; 11 grandchildren:Khariana Clark, Cedric Thomas, Gerren Clark, Phillip Clark, Herbert Kellam II, Khalilah Kellam, Ashley Clark, Terrance Thomas, Reginald Love, Mia Sewell, Wynola (SP) Osborne and Kristi Allen; 4 great grandchildren: Cameron Osborne, Brianna Simpson, Trinity Simpson, Herbert Kellam III,; 2 sister-in-laws: Lucille O. Keaton of Bainbridge, GA and Berniece Jackson of Webb, AL in addition to a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and two very close friends: Mary Jacobs and Alva Mae Clary and Special friend: Carried Byrde.
