Audrey Ophelia Rogers
Audrey Ophelia Haire was born to the late Eula and Dora Kate on October 19, 1937.
Ophelia transitioned to her eternal rest Wednesday December 22, 2021.
At an early age Ophelia accepted Christ becoming a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a devoted member until her health declined.
Ophelia attended school through the Decatur County School System, graduating from Hutto High School in 1956. After graduating she relocated to Newark NJ, where she lived and joined in holy matrimony to Silas Rogers on March 17, 1962 and from this union three children were born.
After returning to Bainbridge Ophelia was employed at ITT United Plastic and at John B. Sanfilippo and Son Inc. until her retirement.
Ophelia was known for many cakes, pies and Hawaiians wings and her family always being the front of her focus.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, two siblings and a great grandson: Eula Haire, Dora Kate Haire, Silas Rogers, Luthis Haire, Waymon Haire, and Dylan Rogers.
Ophelia leaves to cherish her memories her three children: Raynard (Tashikie) of Jacksonville, FL; Gino (Nadine) of Colquitt, GA; Vantillia Carter (Jerry) Carter of Bainbridge, GA; her pride and joy was her 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
