Obituary
Brother Bennie Lee Myrick Jr. was called home on December 18, 2021. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a huge Miami Hurricanes fan. He was such a great husband and provider and the most fantastic grandfather and uncle to so many. He worked for Southern Eastern Minerals for 26 years. He was very devoted to his family and his job.
He was such an inspiration to so many people. He touched a lot of hearts and was always there when someone needed him, a big man with such a bigger heart.
He will truly be missed; he was the legend of the family.
He was preceded in death by his father: Bennie Lee Myrick Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife of 24 years Shemetris Perry-Myrick; three sons: Bennie Myrick III (Jasmine), Christopher Myrick(Alexis) and Deanthony Myrick; three grandchildren: Nyria Patrice Myrick, Mirakel Lashawn Myrick and Makhi Akim Myrick; a loving mother: Barbara Myrick; six sisters: Michelle Osborne, Julie Myrick( Michael, J), Tammy Clemons (Darrell), Mary Myrick (Corey), Martha Myrick (Greg), Pamela Myrick-Perry (John); a loving mother-in-law (a second mother to him): Evangelist Beverly Davis; a father and mother-in-law: John Perry Jr. (Mama Tottie) who seen him as their own son); two brother-in-laws: that he seen as true brothers : Clifford Scott (Jennifer), John Perry (Pamela); two sister-in-laws: that were sisters: Lequeta Smith (Joe) and Leteka Scott; a host of aunts,uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
