Betty Jean Dismuke of Bainbridge, Georgia departed from this life on May 21, 2014. She was born on December 24, 1949 to Rebecca Green and the late Charlie Smith in Bainbridge, Georgia. She gave her life to CHRIST at an early age and became a member of Mount Zuma Missionary Baptist Church in Bainbridge, Georgia. Betty attended Hutto High School in Bainbridge, GA. After high school, she attended nursing school and became a nursing assistant. She was employed by Bainbridge Health Care for several years. Betty was married to the late Robert Dismuke on June 15, 1975. They were married for 38 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Smith; husband, Robert Dismuke; brother, Tony Ziegler; uncles, John Wesley Green, James McSwain, Moses Green; aunts, OssieMcSwain, EvelineMcSwain, Annie Ruth McSwain, Louise McSwain.; and sister in law, Emma Smith. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving mother, Rebecca Perry of Bainbridge, GA; a devoted son, Ricky Dismuke (LeMetra) of Fairburn, GA; two grandchildren, Autumn and Christian Dismuke of Fairburn, GA; four brothers, Ben Ziegler (Deborah) and Steve Ziegler of Bainbridge, GA; Arthur Ziegler of Jacksonville, FL, and Michael Hutchins (Sarah) of Duluth, GA; mother in law, Mary Lou Smith of Bainbridge, GA; sister in law, Jamilia Ziegler of Roanoke, VA; brothers in law; Harold Smith, Victor Smith, Van Smith, and Anthony Smith of Bainbridge, GA; godson, Rodrick McNair of Bainbridge, GA; dear friends, Jacqueline Robinson and Eileen Screen of Bainbridge, GA; and a host ofnephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
