Sister Blanche M. Collins, born December 6, 1937, in Pelham, GA to the Late John L. and Susie Mae Morgan. Her family moved to Fowlstown, GA in 1960 as she continued her journey to Tallahassee, FL where she met her late husband Larry M. Collins and was married for 46 years.
Early Monday morning, May 30, 2016, Our Lord and Savior whispered to her “I have prepared a place for you” and took her to her final resting place away from River Chase Care Center, Quincy, FL.
She confessed Christ at an early age at New Hope MBC in Pelham, GA, later in life she became a member at Greater St. Mark, Tallahassee, FL until her husband’s health declined and she became the sole care taker.
Blanche worked several years with the State of Florida and various places before she became a house wife.
Her cherished memories two sisters, Marie Morgan of Fowlstown, GA and Louise Bulger (Eddie) of Bainbridge, GA; One step son: Herman Collins (Deloris) of Clinton TN; Four Step Daughters: Jernetha Oliver (Rev. Clevester) of Bartow, FL; Dureatha Sampson and Daytra Jackson of Tallahassee, FL; Andrea Jackson of Charlotte, NC; One brother in law: Josephus Collins of Tallahassee, FL; Two sister in laws: Dorothy Adams (Earnest), and Jacquelyn Collins of Tallahassee, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother John L. Morgan, Jr., and three sisters: Doretha Ryles, Hazel Jones and Emma Jean Scott and a very special nephew Johnny L. Morgan, II, four brother in laws: Edward (Cornea), Fred Jr. (Doris), Theodore and Leroy Collins, four sister in laws: Mary Williams (Edwin), Estelle Jenkins, Marion Collins and Anne Woods.
