~Obituary~
Brenda Joyce Thomas was born to Mrs. Vera McGregor and the late Jake Haire December 15, 1957. She was called home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2021.
She received her high school diploma from James Madison High School in Atlanta Georgia July 2, 2001. Brenda was awarded the Richard Allen Award for her faithful and dedicated service from the NAACP May 25, 2020. She loved the Lord and served on the Usher board for many years where she was a member at the Greater Macedonia Baptist Church until her health failed her.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother and four step sisters and two step brothers and three half-sisters and one niece and one nephew and one great niece.
Brenda leaves to cherish a loving mother Mrs. Vera McGregor and Sister Ms. Janice Hunter of Stone Mountain GA; Step Sister M. Faye McGregor. Brenda is also survived by her nieces and nephews and a host of grand nieces and nephews and a host of great grand nieces and nephews who she loved and helped raise and take care of.
Brenda touched many people's lives in so many ways even if it was simply just giving love, helping and giving advice.
