Obituary for Carl Michael Hayes
Carl Michael Hayes was born on December 15, 1968 in Donalsonville Ga to the late Mrs. Eliza Hayes Stewart and Lazarus “Po-Baby” Cochran. He quietly and peacefully passed away on November 20, 2016 at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.
Carl was educated in the Decatur County School System he was general laborer in the construction industry specializing in concrete and building swimming pools.
Carl was baptized at an early age at Morning Star First Baptist Church and was a current member of New Freedom Christian Ministries, Inc.
Carl leaves to cherish his precious memories a devoted and loving wife Tameka Hayes; one sone, Carl Hayes, Jr.; three daughters: Whitnee Jakcson (Napoleon), Carlisha Brown (Keiko), Takendra Ross; one stepson, Darion Mines; a godson, Carter Alexander Hayes; one stepdaughter, Sydnee Mines; eight grandchildren; seven brothers: Horace Floyd, Pastor Lester Hayes (Sharon), Charles Hayes, Ivan Hayes, Curtis Biggles (Betty), Herman Peterson, and Leonard Screen; five sisters Mildred King (Kelvin), Patricia McNair (Alexander), Elaine Smith (Harold), Ruby Peterson (James), and Jacqueline Cochran; a beloved aunt, Ruth Johnson; mother-in-law, Ollie Pompey; father-in-law, Robert Pompey; two brothers-in-laws: Rashard Pompey and Jarrell Pompey; a sister-in-law, Shaunita Pompey; and a host of sorrowing relatives and friends.
