Obituary for Carol Jean Brown
Sister Carol Jean Brown was born on December 23, 1946 in Grady County, Georgia to the late Ruth Wright and raised by her aunt Lula Thomas. She received her education from Grady County Public Schools. After graduation, she attended FAMU. At an early age, she confessed Christ and joined Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church. She was an active member of the choir and served as church secretary and Sunday School Teacher. In June of 1966, she married Hubert Brown and to this union one son was born, Lamonte Brown of Whigham, Georgia. She loved cooking and attending to her animals. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband of 49 years: Hubert Brown of Whigham, GA; son Lamonte Brown of Whigham, GA; two siblings: Victor Wright and Gregory Wright of Newark, NJ; a special cousin Melton Arline of Colquitt, GA and a host of devoted in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
