Obituary for Carolyn C. Bullard
Carolyn Cullers Bullard, 67, departed this life Sunday, September 6, 2015. Carolyn Bullard was the adoring wife of Joseph Bullard and the loving mother of Janele Bullard Parrish and her husband Daniel and the devoted grandmother of Master Donovan Joseph Parrish. Carolyn Bullard was born July 13, 1948 in Colquitt, Georgia to the late Sam and Adele Cowart Cullers. She was the eldest daughter of eight siblings. She graduated from Bethel Elementary and High School in Colquitt in 1965 and later graduated from Thomas Area Technical School with a degree in Secretarial Science in 1967. Carolyn was employed at Florida A&M University for nearly forty years, retiring in 2003 as Director of Telecommunications. She was a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a deaconess, former president of the Usher Board, and a volunteer and member of Bethel's Africare Ministry and Retirement Ministry. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband of 38 years, Joseph Bullard, her daughter Janele Adele Bullard Parrish (Daniel), her grandson, Donovan, her sisters Patricia Clark, Joycelynn Wells (Calvin), Debbie Cullers, Belinda Morgan (Donald) and Angela Cullers and a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers--Alvin Cullers and C.T. Cullers.
