REFLECTIONS
Darius “Skeet” Drew was born on March 24, 1989, in Bainbridge, GA, to loving parents Leroy Drew, Jr. and Teresa Drew. He grew up in Bainbridge, where he graduated from Bainbridge High School in May 2007. Darius continued his education at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, GA, before completing his Associate’s degree in Computer Information Science Systems at Bainbridge College.
Darius was passionate about animals, often adopting pets, and had a deep love for video games. Through gaming, he formed lifelong friendships that continued to enrich his life. His kind and welcoming nature was apparent from an early age, particularly in his active role as an usher at Glasgow AME Church, where he served alongside his father and twin brother.
Darius is remembered with love by his parents, Leroy, Jr. and Teresa Drew of Bainbridge, GA; sister Leticia Tara Drew of Morrow, GA; twin brother Darryl Jamar Drew (Secret) of Atlanta, GA; He also leaves behind grandfather: Leroy Drew, Sr. of Boston, GA; his nephews: Zyron Terrell Hudson and Benjamin Ramello Hudson, both of Morrow, GA; Darius will be dearly missed by his aunts and uncles: Joyce Ann Kirkland, the late James Kirkland, Jr., Sandra Presha (Jonathan, Sr.), all of Bainbridge, GA; Lynn Norris Drew of Atlanta, GA; Michael Anthony Drew (Sherror) and Ray LeKeith Drew, Sr. (Pamela), both of Boston, GA; along with numerous cousins, relatives, and friends.
Proceeding him in death grandparents: late Ona Bell Drew; as well as the late Samuel Sanders, Jr., late Ida Mae Sanders, formerly of Thomasville, GA.
Darius' legacy of kindness, his love for animals, and his deep connections with friends and family will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
