Daryl Dorain Walker (“Big D”)
Daryl Dorain Walker, affectionately known as “Big D,” was born on December 12, 1973, to Carson Walker and the late Edna Thomas. He was lovingly taken in by his bonus mom, Mittie J. Stubbs, who preceded him in death.
Our beloved “Big D” was called home on May 9, 2026. We loved “Big D,” but God loved him more and felt it was time for His angel to come home, where there is no more pain or suffering.
“Big D” leaves to cherish his memories: his father, Carson Walker; daughter, Jessica Butler (Titus); siblings, Willie Warren (Keisha), Chad Bryant (Tori), and Steve Thomas; bonus siblings, Pamela Jaye and Willie Jaye (Laura); and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Aretha Warren, Antonio Campbell, Freddie Walker,Vardo Walker,And Bonus Brother Michael Stubbs
Daryl worked at Murphy’s Home and Garden Shop for many years until his health began to decline. He loved gardening and also had a deep love for music. To know him was to love him.
May his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
