A LIFE LIVED WELL

DEACON EDWARD DEE CONLEY SR.

August 22, 1945 July 27, 2022

Edward Dee Conley was born on August 22, 1945, in Seminole County to the late Willie James Conley Sr. and late Linnie Mae Conley. He was the seventh son out of 11 siblings born to this union. He joined Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Brinson, GA in 1981 and was ordained as a Deacon on March 21, 1982. He served faithfully and ministered to many until his death. He was beaconed to his heavenly home on July 27, 2022 to walk among the Angels and sit on the arm of the Heavenly Throne.
On November 11, 1966 he began a wonderful journey with Rosa Ann Williams joining in Holy Matrimony, uniting in soul and body. Being the saintly man that everyone came to know he helped Rosa raise her five siblings, four sisters and one brother, due to the untimely death of their mother. To this union six children were born three boys and three girls, two preceded him in death (Rosalyn Conley and Valentine Conley) as well as his devoted wife (Rosa).
He was blessed to find someone, he considered sent to him by God, to share his last day with in heavenly bliss. His famous saying was "Let My Last Days Be My Best Days" He asked Sandra Danzy to take his hand in marriage and the two were married on July 5, 2014. She continued to be devoted to him in his last days until his light could not shine any longer.
His life was truly blessed by God enabling him to minister to all that came within his path. His faith in God never wavered and he encouraged his family to be strong as they accepted God’s will even in the time of their struggle. His faith was unbreakable and his prayers were mighty powerful. He was thought to have a direct line to the highest kingdom and was sought to pray for many in need, failing health or seeking the path to the savior. He always had good sound words of wisdom, and was a strong patriarch for his family, leading by example. He also supported his siblings thoroughout their health and financial struggles, all while being the main source of income to support his home of growing kids. Continuing to work full-time up until his recent illness.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving and devoted wife, Sandra Conley, Brinson, GA; his children Edward Conley (Renada) of Midway, FL, Glenda Harrold (Ted) of Byron, GA, Gregory Conley of Brinson, GA and Tyrone Conley of Norcross, GA. Stepson Travoris Danzy, Tallahassee, FL. Sister Linnie Conley, Newark, New Jersey and Billy World(Pealie) Donalsonville, GA
Four siblings raised as his own Sheila Hartsfield(John) of Bainbridge, GA, Brenda Beard(David), of Brinson, GA, Dan Williams(LeeAnn) of Hinesville, GA and Marvalynn Carroll(Larry) of Bainbridge, GA. Bobbie Glenn(Johnnie) preceded him in death. A special nephew raised as his own MGySgt. Eddie Williams(Tonya), Camp Lejeune NC.
