Sister Della S. Gibson, the daughter of the Late Sim and Lottie Smart was born on August 19, 1927 in Climax, Georgia.
She confessed CHRIST at an early age and join Mt. Mariah #1 M.B. Church under Pastor C.L. Laster, where she was also an Usher until her health fail.
She will be remembered by her family as the one who provided for family and friends, one who listened and comforted them during times of trouble and sorrow, and laughed during times of happiness.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Spurlock Gibson. To this union two children born.
Preceding her in death one daughter: Alma Johnson; her husband: Spurlock Gibson.
She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish memories: Daughter: Pinkey Jones; Grandchildren: Dyane Gibson, Sharon Johnson, Beverly Johnson, Alcindor Johnson, Wandessa Jones, Angela Tolbert, Willie Jones, Curtis Jones; Great Grandchildren: Miles, Kenneth, Shandrekia, Lasheila, Jakicia, Deandrea, Rodtabious, Montreal, Takendrick, Kiona, Kiarra, Zykeria, Covin, Randishia, Tyra, Marcus, Mariah, Aaden, Carlydia, Harmony, Jayden, Harmonica; Great Great Grandchildren: Kobe, Cra’Niyah, Tamaurius, Fermarion, Sha’Niyah, Traydan, Khamoni; Special niece and nephew: Lois and Bennie; Special cousin: Clara Buncum and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and family.
The family would like to give a special Thanks to Margie Maddox, Pebbles Miller, Reverend Simon Simmons and most of all hospice care.
