Obituary for Doretha Wade
Mother Doretha Wade was born September 9, 1932 to both the late Lindsay Green and Quessie Mae Eggleton in Decatur County. She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband: Admiral Wade Sr.; three children, Charlotte Wade, Bainbridge, GA; Admiral Wade, Jr., Phoenix, AZ; SSG Amos Wade, Augusta, GA; two brothers: Matthew Green (Diana), San Francisco, CA and Moses Green (Betty), Annapolis Royal, Canada; one grandson Daemari Wade, Sr. (Monica), three great grandson: Daemari V. Wade, Jr., Jai'Den DeAndre' Wade, D'Vontrey Wade, Midway, FL and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends. God looked around his Garden and found an empty place; he then looked down upon the earth and saw my tired face. He put his arms around me and lifted me to rest; he said come home Mother and fight no more it's time for you to rest. Don't grieve for me; for now I'm free I'm following the path God has laid out for me. Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what's to be; a resting place along the road to sweet eternity. I have fought a good fight, I have kept the faith, things left undone must stay that way. My mind is at ease my soul at rest. Remembering all how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with life, don't worry about falls. I miss you dearly, so keep up your chin; until that day comes we are together again.
