Reflection of Life
Mother Dorothy Mae Williams born on August 28, 1944, to the late M.D. Richardson and Carrie Bell Marshall, peacefully departed this life on June 6, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering faith.
Dorothy was united in holy matrimony with Benjamin M. Williams Sr., affectionately known as Bo or BW. Together, they built a life filled with love and devotion, serving as a pillar of strength for their family and community. Benjamin, the love of her life, preceded her in death, yet their bond remains an eternal testament to their enduring love.
Dorothy's memory will forever be cherished by her beloved children: Vincint L. Miller, Raymond C. Miller Jr., Warren D. Miller, Jeffrey L. Miller, Willie Mae Porter, and Montrel M. Miller. She also leaves behind her three dear sisters: Corine Williams, Callie Rumph, and Essie M. Green. Her legacy continues through her 23 grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members. She held a special place in her heart for her granddaughter Cheryl Ward, with whom she shared a unique and loving bond.
Throughout her life, Dorothy was known for her unwavering faith, compassion, and dedication to her family. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Mother Dorothy Mae Williams will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who loved her. Her life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and family. May she rest in eternal peace.
