Mrs. Easter M Holt was born April 16, 1933, to the late Otto Montgomery and late Maybell (Keys) Montgomery.

Mrs. Easter M. Holt time on earth expired May 2, 2023, she was at her home when she was called to rest.
Life
At an early age she accepted our Lord and savior into her life. She was raised on a farm in Colquitt Georgia where her parents were farm workers and she also worked in the fields on the farm as a young girl and she did many chores at home. At home at an early age, she gave birth to her son, Calvin Davis. Later they were united in marriage, and she became Easter Mae Key Davis. They moved to New York where they lived there for many years before they were divorced. At the time of their divorce, she was pregnant Septembber15, 1956 she gave birth to her daughter Linda Ann and later moved to Chicago IL where she worked on a military post for many years before she met and later married Joseph Holt. She loved helping her community and different auxiliaries of the church she joined while in Chicago she was loved by all who knew her. In 1986 her husband Joseph Holt passed, and she moved back to Bainbridge GA where she joined Mt. Zuma Baptist Church where she served for a while. She was always doing good things in the community. She would deliver dinner to those she thought needed a hot meal. One Sunday she fixed dinner for members of Nelson Chapel Church and Mt. Zuma the same day but different times. Sometime later she moved her membership to Saint Paul M.B. Church where she served for a short time before reuniting back with Mt. Zuma M.B. Church where she served until she was called. Earlier in her career she worked at Bainbridge Junior College for a short period of time later she and her stepsister went to a long-term care assistant Training Agency Where they both received Certified Nursing Certificates. She set with several families before retiring.
Family
She was preceded in death by three brothers: one sister and one stepbrother: Richard Montgomery; Fred Troupe and Joe W. Montgomery; sister: Elouise Montgomery Patterson; father: Otto Montgomery; mother: Maybell (Keys) Montgomery.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories Son: Calvin Davis Bainbridge, GA; daughter: Linda Ann(Anthony) Frenchwood, Bainbridge, GA; 3 grandson: Bernard O. Davis, Bainbridge, GA; Dorie (Yamanda) Williams, Tallahassee, FL; Kavin William, Bainbridge, GA: 4 great grandchildren: Jordan Oliver Raven Williams, Tallahassee, FL; Taninah Butler, Miyah Williams, Bainbridge, GA; Niece: Theresa (James) Ford, Tallahassee FL: two nephew: Derek Troup Waldorf, MD; Kirk (Rissa)Troupe, Greensboro, SC; stepsister: Alice Oliver, Albany, GA; a host of cousins and friends.
