Mrs. Electa Harrell Evans was born February 2, 1926, in Decatur County, Georgia to the late John Emory and Ellie Moriah Swain-Harrell . She attended the public schools of Decatur County, Georgia. Electra Evans received Christ at an early age and became affiliated with the St. Andrews Missionary Baptist Church on Gibson Road, Climax, Georgia. She was later married to Bennie Evans. To this union was born seven children, three of which preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband. Mrs. Evans' life ended on February 20, 2015, when she was taken from us. We feel that she is at rest with our heavenly Father. After so much suffering, the Lord took her to himself where there is no pain and no burden of a tear. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, James Evans (Martha), three daughters Helen Mills (Clisby), Gloria Jean Turner (Michael), Kathy Bradshaw (Rodriquez), twenty grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, her oldest sister Mary Emma Gibson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends Beyond the gate your loved one rest and there is comfort in the thought that a loving God knows best.
