Obituary
Mother Eunice (Uness) Hundly was born on March 10, 1929 in Bainbridge, GA to the late Andrew Brown and Hattie Bouie. She peacefully transitioned to her eternal home on Sunday, February 2, 2020 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was raised from childbirth by Ethel Brown Parramore and was educated in the Decatur County School System.
She was affectionately known as “Mama”, “Grandma”, “Mrs. Eunice” and “Aunt Eunice”. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and became a faithful servant of God through many years of membership at St. Luke Independent Methodist Church in Faceville, GA.
Mrs. Eunice was united with the late Mr. R. Lee Hundly in the holy bonds of matrimony on October 20, 1951. To this union 10 children were born. Several children preceded her in death: Bruce, Geraldine, Rudean, Bennie, Obie and Blane. She was also preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother who enjoyed fishing, farming, gardening, reading her bible, listening to gospel music and watching westerns.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son: Johnny (Ruth) Hundly; three daughters: Virginia Hundly, Michelle Hundly and Patricia Hundly; several grandchildren: Tracy (Danny) Worthy, Jessica Hundly, Mia Cooks, Jennifer (Andrew) Guy, Demetri Sapp, Craig (Iris) King, and Jacqueline King; two sisters-in-law: Emma Lizzie Brown and Ruthie Lee Chavers, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
