Obituary for Fredricka Renee Shilo
Obituary
On this date, January 28, 1992 a beautiful baby girl was born to Fredrick and Terri Shilo. They named her Fredricka Renee(Angel) Shilo. They watched her grow into a beautiful young lady as she attended Decatur County Schools and graduated from Bainbridge High School with the Class of 2010. She grew up singing in church at New Jerusalem Church of God of Christ.
She developed life-long friendships and had a contagious smile that warmed the hearts of so many. Her first friends were her sisters, Valerie Shilo, Victoria Shilo and Mya Shilo. She was the ring leader of many fun times and laughs and was usually the one who saved them from getting in trouble with their parents! These four was usually seen with their special cousin, Wanshanda “Shawn” Shilo as she was like their older sister. This is a sister bond that will never be broken as they played together, laughed together and cried together.
She meet Jamie Hezekiah and became a mother to her sweet son, Kingston James Hezekiah, Fredricka had blossomed into a hard-working and protective mom who showered her son with all her love. She also became an aunt to her nieces and nephews, Dakevian Shilo, Adriana Harris, Taylor Harris, Kyle Kegler and Elijah Wimberly and was known to be their “cool auntie”.
As she transitioned on May 8, 2017 she was met in heaven by her paternal grandmother Loretha Shilo and maternal grandmother Francis Henry as they took her by her hand and welcomed her into their arms. Her maternal grandfather, Deacon Willie Shilo and Bishop John Henry (Delores) will miss their beautiful granddaughter but they both know that she is being cared for by the best in heaven. Her Godmothers, Ada Lee Grice and Eva Pearl Moore also know that although she will be missed, she is among angels! She will be missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Fredericka was known by so many to love life and had a bubbly personality and could light up a room with her bright smile and big laughs! She loved to dress up and was known to those who loved her as a real “fashionista” as she loved to dress with the latest fashion trends. She loved the color green as it represented life and growth!
Fredericka is smiling from heaven and would probably ask “You mad?” “Gul, Don’t be mad for I am not hurting and although I hated to leave ya’ll so soon, God had stuff for me to do! So don’t be mad or sad for we will one day meet again.”
