Gene Austin
A loving husband and Father Gene Austin was loaned to this world.
on December 14, 1947, and returned to his heavenly Father on June 20, 2025.
He departed at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He is the beloved son of the late Sam Lowe and Vera Mac Sapp.
Gene, a man of great Faith, received Christ at an early age and was dedicated.
member of Midway Missionary Baptist Church in Jakin, Ga. He was ordained as a Deacon on December 7th, 2008, under the leadership of Rev. Hayward Teaque. Gene also known as (Boy Gene) was well Known all over Seminole County. A dedicated, faithful, kind, hearted, humble loving husband and father. He never met a stranger. His tall statues, smile lit up the world. He loved, and was loved by many. His Life spoke for itself. Any conversation he had always ended with CHRIST and CARS. He had a love for both. And in his spare time, he would work on his cars. Gene has worked as a farmer all his life in early Seminole County. He was a great father of 8 kids and a loving husband of 53 years. Words cannot describe how much you are and will be missed.

'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed.
Gene is predeceased by his wife: Christine J. Ausin; daughter; Christina Austin (Kipp); Brothers: Joe, Frank and Mack Austin; Sister: Mary Austin.
His life's Legacy is carried on by his 4 sons: Hughdonn (Leslie) Austin of Riverdale GA; Brandon (Ladetril) of Valdosta, GA; Mitchell and Mario Austin of Donalsonville, GA; 3 daughters: Latisha (Derrell) Austin, Dukes of Bainbridge, GA; Regina (Rev. Maurice) McDaniel and Demetria Austin of Donaldsonville, GA; A Loving Grandfather of seven grandchildren; 3 Siblings: Leugene Austin of Donalsonville, GA; Steve Daisy Lowe of Bainbridge, GA; Annie Jean Lowe of Tampa, FL; He Lifted treasures of love behind.
