Obituary for Geneva Deloris Close
With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." A Time to Be Born Geneva Deloris Close was born on October 30, 1938 in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late John Henry Keaton and Oassie Bernice Keaton. A Time to Grow She was join in marriage to the late Benjamin Close and to this union two sons were born. After his basing she met Willis Jay Gordon and to this union four children were born. A Time to Leave On March 30, 2015, Mrs. Geneva Deloris Close was called home to be with our Lord. Serving and praising God faithfully. Her love for people, friends and family was evident in the way she live her life. She was loved by all and she touched the lives of many. A Time to Mourn She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Mr. William Howard Keaton Sr. and Mr. Robert Bernard Rambeau. A Time to Cherish Her Memory She leaves to cherish her memory her six children: Mr. Darrell Jerome Close, Mr. Ervin Bernard Close and Mr. Michael Gordon all of Bainbridge, GA; Mrs. Vetrice G. (Guedel) Kimmon of Dale City VA; Mrs. Miranda R. (Reginald) Bulger of Fleming Island, FL; Mr. Kelvin (Patina) Gordon of Calvary GA; three sisters: Ms. Elma Louise Keaton, Mrs. Gussie Mae Davis and Ms. Janette Elizabeth Keaton all of Bainbridge, GA; Eighteen grandchildren and Seven great grandchildren and several beloved sisters-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
