Gladys Louise Gilbert was born December 25, 1948 in Early County, Georgia to the late Wilkie & Rebecca Holmes. She joined in Holy Matrimony to Willie James Gilbert June 24, 1967 whom she preceded in death. To this union two children were born, Willie Earl Gilbert & Gloria Ann Gilbert whom also preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one son:Willie Earl (Bre) Gilbert Ozark, AL: 7 grandchildren: Willie Earl Gilbert Jr. Atlanta, GA; Kendra Gilbert, Gainesville, FL; Shaquille Berry, Troy, AL; Cypress Henderson Dothan AL; LaVennia Gilbert Dothan, AL; Chastity Lea Gilbert Dothan, AL; Brittany Gilbert Atlanta, GA;
7 great grandchildren
Five sisters: Ella Holmes, Alberta Blackmon, Earline Holmes, and Barbara Holmes all of Blakely, GA; two brothers: Jimmy (Oteau) Holmes, Blakely, GA; David (Gloria) Holmes, Hallandale FL;
Debra Ann Holmes, Juanita Davis & Jeffery Holmes preceded her in death.
One Aunt: Lillian Williams of Gainesville, FL; Four sisters in laws: Minnie Alexander, Ruby Gilbert, both of Blakely, GA; Mary Gilbert of Baltimore MD; one brother in law Howard Gilbert, Blakely, GA.
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
