Mr. Glenn “Dusst" Jackson
Mr. Glenn "Dusst" Jackson was born in Miller County, Georgia on June 5, 1961 to the late John Charlie Jackson and Geraldine Booker Jackson. His family church was Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church. He graduated from Miller County High School. After high school, Mr. Jackson develop an interest in Auto Mechanics and shadowed Mr. Jack Holt. He became a talented mechanic and repaired automobiles and factory machines for many years before becoming disabled.
He was united in matrimony to Angenette Middleton Jackson on November 16, 2001. Mr. Jackson departed this life on October 27, 2021, at Phoebe Putney Hospital.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by parents: John Charlie Jackson and Geraldine Jackson; Special aunt and uncle: Ruby Wiley and Walter "Slick" Wiley.
To forever cherish his legacy of love is his loving and devoted wife: Angenette Jackson of Colquitt, Georgia; three daughters: Carolyn (Anthony) Hunter of Killeen, Texas, Sierra Lawhorne, Arlington, Georgia, and Jasmine Lawhorne, Arlington, Georgia; two brothers: Charles Jackson of Colquitt, Georgia and Ronnie Jackson of Jacksonville, Florida; sister: Myrtice Carolyn Jackson of Warner Robins, Georgia; four grandchildren: MaKayla, Malasia, Mackenzie, and Jalen; aunt: Loray Allen of St. Petersburg, Florida and caring Virginia Bugs of Donalsonvilie, Georgia; two nieces: Keesha (Joe) Lavette of Colquitt, Georgia and Breann Jackson of Jacksonville, Florida; one nephew: Garrett Jackson of Colquitt, Georgia; best friends/cousins: Tammy (Wyatt) Peters of Havana, Florida and Kenneth Wiley of Colquitt, Georgia; mother-in-law: Ruby Middleton of Arlington, Georgia; father-in-law: James Middleton of Arlington, Georgia; two brothers-in-law: Timothy Middleton of Arlington, Georgia; Daniel (Tammy) Middleton of Americus, Georgia; a very special person that he cared for dearly: Dennis "Jock" Perkins; favorite EMS person: Kente Carter; a friend that was like a sister: Brenda Carter of Colquitt, Georgia. For special acts of love: Emma Miller, Jennifer Jackson, Vickie Dunnell, Dennis Perkins, Joann Cranfield, Enzie White, Algin Meritt Sr. and Leroy Toliver, Robert Andrews (Lee) Jefrey King, Pastor James Middleton, Pastor Wallace Turner and Zoom Church Family; and other cousins and very dear loving sorrowing friends.
