Obituary
Hosea Henry, Jr. was born November 25, 1955, to the late Hosie Henry Sr. And the late Queen Esther Henry in Donalsonville, Ga. He was reared by his grandfather and grandmother, the late Joe Hunter and Pallie Hunter. He also was the brother of the late Jerry Henry and special nephew to the late Hattie Mae Hunter and the late Ray Hunter Sr.
Hosea resided in Donalsonville all of his life. He was a graduate of Seminole County High School in 1973. He knew at a young age what he wanted to do with his life. He pursued farming and became an exceptional businessman and entrepreneur. Hosea met the love of his life, Christine McGriff in 1975. They were married November 12, 1977. From their union, four lovely children were born. He became a devoted husband and father to his family. He was a great son, grandson and friend. He never met a stranger and loved talking about farming and business ventures. He lived a life filled with love and family.
Hosea Henry, Jr. was called home on 11/13/2023. He lived his last moments of life surrounded by his family. Hosea leaves behind his amazing and loving wife Christine Henry; Four children: Kenisha Figueroa (Angel) McDonough, GA; Hosea Dewayne Henry (Quateesha) Elizabeth Pugh (Martin) and Timothy Henry, all reside in Donalsonville, GA. Twelve grandchildren: Zyanna, Kenadia, Kaliyah, Keshaun, Jasmine, Ethan, Isabella, Tiara, Aniyah, Gavin, Denaycia, and I’yani. A devoted sister in-law, Patricia Henry. Two special relatives, Barbara Yeboah and Mary Roberson. One aunt and uncle of Miami, FL Corene Williams and Horace Henry. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
