Obituary for Icy Iola Marshall
Icy Iola Fletcher Marshall was born May 28, 1932, in Liberty County, Florida to the late Samuel and Willie Fletcher. She was educated in the public schools of Gadsden County. At an early age, she gave her life to Christ and was baptized. She was a faithful member of Mt. Hosea Missionary Baptist Church. She was united in holy matrimony to Robert Marshall who she leaves to continue their 62 years of marriage. To this union was born six sons: Charles (Carolyn) Marshall, Robert Marshall, Jr., Benjamin Marshall, Henry Marshall, Herbert Marshall and Sebastian Marshall, all of Quincy, Florida; and two daughters; Mary (Pipp) Marshall- Webster, Tallahassee, Florida, Joyce (Harold) Marshall-Menton, Homestead, Florida and adopted daughter, Michelle (Stanley) Culver, all who will continue to cherish the legacy of her earthly life. Icy Marshall was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family. She also leaves to rejoice in her memory three siblings, Peggy (Samuel) Rogers and Mary Odis Fletcher, both of Tallahassee, Florida, Moses (Heddie) Fletcher, Bahama, North Carolina; four sisters-in-law, Carrie Brown, Mobile, Alabama, Matilda Sherman, Dorothy Hutson, both of Quincy, Florida, Corry Nell Emanuel, Bainbridge, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Sirrethia (John), Doris (Santhana), KaTonja, Demeatric, Quanzia, Shunzia, Joy; eight great-grandchildren, Kelasha, Sierra, Jerrod, Layah, Alexis, Ryon, Antawon, Ma'Kayla; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and dearest friends.
