Obituary for Isaac Grice Jr
Isaac Grice, Jr., was born June 10, 1949 to Isaac Grice, Sr. and the late Emma L. Grice in Decatur County, McCrayville, Georgia. Isaac was a member of Mt Ararat Primitive Baptist Church. His favorite scripture was Psalms 23. Isaac attended the public school system of Decatur County, graduating from Attapulgus Mt. Moriah High School, Class of 1967. He joined the United States Army in 1969, and was honorably discharged in 1971 after serving 2 years. He was an employee of Plant Operations and Maintenance at Florida A&M University and Tallahassee Community College. Isaac was joined in holy matrimony to Sharon Bryant in 1982. He was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with the Class of 1967. This life's journey ended for Isaac on November 23, 2014when our Heavenly Father called him home. Isaac Grice, Jr., leaves to mourn his death and forever cherish his memories; his loving and devoted wife, Sharon B. Grice of Tallahassee, FL; his daughters, Iris Grice and Alexis Grice both of Tallahassee, FL; his father Isaac Grice, Sr., of Attapulgus, GA; his stepsons, Octavis Bryant and Samuel Bryant both of Tallahassee, FL; his step daughter, Tiffany Richardson of Tallahassee, FL; his granddaughters, Destiny Green, Carisma Johnson and Nahla Griffin all of Tallahassee, FL; his step-grandchildren, Shagaretta, Fantasia, Alladin, DeMarta, Takeylo, Zechariah, Cami, Tionna, Shanice, Justin and Jordan all of Tallahassee, FL; his brothers, Eugene (Ella) Grice of Havana, FL; Dallas Grice and Elder Charles Grice both of Tallahassee, FL; his sisters, Annie D. Williams of Midway, FL; Margaret (James) Jackson of Colquitt, GA, Lucille (James) Harris of Tallahassee, FL; Ada Grice, Janice Jackson and Wander Booker all of Attapulgus, GA and Mary Goodman of Cairo, GA; his brother-in-law, Louis Bryant of San Antonio, TX; his sisters-in-law, Annette Moore, Gloria Washington and Leola Williams all of Quincy, FL; a special great niece, Tominiqua Branch of Quincy, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Emma L. Grice, his brothers Sylvester J. Grice and Johnny Harrison and his sister Emma R. Grice.
