Obituary for James Register Sr.
James Register Sr., son of the late Mose& Winnie Register, was born April, 01 1924 in Houston County, Alabama. He departed his life to be with the Lord on July 27, 2014. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church, Donalsonville, Georgia. He later became a member of Donalsonville Holiness Deliverance Church where he served faithfully until his health began to fail. He was united in holy matrimony to the late Charlie Mae Register on May 18, 1954. To cherish his memory he leaves behind (1) sister, Evelyn Paramore of Brandenton, Flordia, (1) brother, Travis Register of Donalsonville, Georgia, eleven children: (6) daughters: Pauline Green (Donald) of Donalsonville, Georgia, Earline Battie, Delores Curry (Arthur), Violet A. Gelin, Tammy E. Register of Thomasville, Georgia, Lisa M. Register of Atlanta, Georgia, (5) sons: Lorenza Johnson, Samuel F. Johnson, Morgan L. Register, James W. Register of Donalsonville, Georgia and Thomas E Register (Sandra) of Cairo, Georgia. James Register was blessed to have 30 grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of sorrowing friends and relatives.
