She was a member of Second United Holiness Church in Donalsonville, GA where she followed the spirit of God and became a member at LEM of Iron City, GA. She served there until her health failed. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Claude Brown Jones. To this union six children were born: Patricia Register of Donalsonville, GA; Calvin Register (Lynn) of Thomasville, GA; Sheryl Hayes (Dennis) of Donalsonville, GA; Stephen Brown of Thomasville, GA; Willie Brown (Barbara) of Donalsonville, GA and Claude Brown (Tonya) of Dothan AL.
She had a total of 10 siblings. 4 sisters : Ruby Pearl Barber (Leroy) of Donalsonville, GA; Evelee Hention of Donalsonville, GA; Patricia Barber (Johnny C) and Pearlie Lee Barber of Donalsonville, GA who preceded her in death.
