Brother Jessie C. Murphy, Sr, was born April 13, 1934 as the eldest son of Doc and Jewel Murphy. He was married to the love of his life Doris Murphy.
He leaves to cherish his memories sons: Jessie C. Murphy, Jr., William “Darren” Murphy (Vetra), Ricky Lee Murphy (Chasity), Gregory Bernard Murphy, Winston “Terry” Murphy, Jessie Murphy and Christopher Murphy (Tronda); Daughters: Patricia Ann Chavers (George), Dorothy Cox, Evelyn Mincey, Betty Ann Anderson (Jackie), Lorie Ann Jackson (Wendell), and Melisha Ann Murphy; Brothers: Willie B. Murphy (Mary Lee), Marvin Murphy (Betty), Leroy Murphy, and Harvey Murphy; Sister: Jessie Lee Wiggins, Mary Long, and Caroin Bell (Raymond); a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Lottie B. Miller and Margarine Murray and a daughter Martha Murphy.
