Obituary for Jimmy L. Spradley
Brother Jimmy L. Spradley was born on September 23, 1942 in Grady County, Georgia to the late Johnny and Daisy Lee Spradley Sapp. He later moved to Bainbridge, Georgia and graduated from Hutto High School. After graduation, he moved to Florida and married the late Glennis Stephens Spradley. It was in Florida where he developed a passion for cooking. Jimmy was employed in that capacity in many restaurants. He became a chef at Morrison Cafeteria in Florida where he loved to include ice sculptures for special events. Jimmy returned to Bainbridge in 1988 and was hired as a head cook at the Huddle House and also worked for the same establishment in Donalsonville, Georgia. Jimmy Spradley became a proud member of Union M.B. Church. He was elated to be a part of such a wonderful Christian family. He was an active member of Union M.B. Choir and served as Vice President and later President. Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted companion: Ollie Burns of Bainbridge, GA; a daughter: Valerie Malone; five sons: Henry Malone, Michael Spradley (Vickie), James "Jimmy" Spradley, Jr. (Roslyn (deceased), Shawn Spradley, and Aaron Spradley all of Sarasota, FL; Ten grandchildren, Twelve great grandchildren, a host of devoted cousins, friends, family and the King West group.��
