Obituary for John C. Mackey
John C. "Sabadaba" Mackey was born on Monday, July 2, 1951 to the late Annie Louise Daniels Mackey. He attended Baker Co. High School in Newton, GA and worked at the Albany Transit for many years. John fellowshipped with Bethel A.M.E. Church of Damascus, GA. He departed this life on January 29, 2016 in Daytona, Fl., where he resided for the past years. John is survived by his wife, Charlie Mae Mackey, an only daughter, Tracey Mackey of Daytona, Fl., an only sister Ruby Jean Bell, 5 Brothers James "No" (Sharon Cull) Daniel, Hilton Daniels, Jerome (Jackie) Daniels, Bobby (Ernie) Daniels, Walt (Stephanie) Daniels, One God-Daughter: Judy (Paul) Burr, four special friends: Sam Butler, Paul Burr, Cecil Grant and Pat Love, two special cousins: Bernice Harris and Fran Kimbrough, two aunts: Cordelia Williams and Lille Bell Jones, Two uncles: Fred Williams and George "Gilbert" Pauline Williams, and host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
