Johnny Lee Hundly of Bainbridge, Georgia departed from this life May 5, 2022. He was born on February 23, 1952, in Faceville, Georgia to R Lee Hundly and Eunice Hundly who preceded him in death.
Johnny was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Annie Ruth Carter on November 13, 1978.
He faithfully attended St. Luke Independent Methodist Church for many years and was devoted to serving on the Deacon Board.
He was educated in the Decatur County School System and then attended Fort Valley State College with an emphasis in Agriculture. After which, he spent many years employed with companies such as Amoco Fabrics (Bainbridge, GA), American General Insurance (Bainbridge, GA) and The Printing House(Quincy, FL).
Johnny was the oldest of 10 children. Several of his brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife of many years; three daughters: Jacqueline King, Jennifer King (Andrew) Guy, Demetri Sapp; one son: Rodney (Iris) King; three sisters: Virginia Hundly, Michelle Hundly and Patricia Hundly; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren Two aunts: Emma Lee Brown and Emma Lizzie Brown; Two sisters-in-law: Armie Lois Brown and Cledie M. Johnson-Carter and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
