Obituary
Junor Mae Gadson Bell was born on August 7, 1929, in Newton, Baker County, Georgia, to the late Jimmy Gadson and Addie McIntyre Gadson. She was educated in the Decatur County School System.
Junor dedicated many years of her working life to Alberta Crate and Box Co., and later at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital, where her strong work ethic and commitment were highly valued.
At the age of 13, she joined Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Bainbridge, Georgia. Throughout her life, she remained a devoted member, serving in multiple capacities including as a member of the missionary society, choir, financial secretary, and as part of the dietary program association. Most notably, she was honored to serve as Church Mother, a role she cherished.
Junor was preceded in death by her loving husband, Morrell Bell; her brother, Jimmy Gadson; and her sister, Addie Sheffield Gadson.
She leaves behind a loving family to celebrate her memory, including four nieces: Ozie Sheffield Pace, Edna Sheffield Martin (Ernest), Subrena Sheffield Hurd (Robert), and Sharolyn Sheffield Barnes (Jerome); two nephews: Norman Sheffield (Jacqueline) and Darrell Sheffield (Juanita); a special cousin, Ruenell Florence; as well as forty-nine great-nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and close friends.
Her unwavering faith, kindness, and service to others will forever be remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
