Reflection of Life
Latorya Conner was born on November 9, 1983 to Andre and Kimberly Conner in Attapulgus, Georgia. She was the eldest of three siblings: Andre Conner Jr. and Mathias Conner. Latorya was the mother of two loving and devoted sons Caleb and Corey McDowell.
Latorya accepted Christ at an early age as her personal Savior at Smith Grove M.B. Church under the late Pastor Seth Sedrick Shedrick.
Latorya received her formal education through the Decatur County School System where she graduated with honors from Bainbridge High School in 2002. She furthered her education and obtained multiple degrees in Early Childhood Education with highest degree of Educational Specialist. She was employed with the Gadsden County School System in Quincy, Florida. In her leisure, she enjoyed spending time with her loving and devoted sons, her family and friends. Latorya was full of laughter, love and joy, she “lived like it’s heaven on earth.”
She leaves to cherish her memories Two loving and devoted sons: Caleb and Corey McDowell of Bainbridge, GA; Parents: Andre and Kimberly Conner of Attapulgus, GA; Two brothers: Andre, Jr. and Mathias Conner of Attapulgus, GA; Paternal grandparents: James and Sarah Conner; Maternal grandparents: George and Inez Carter; God-Mother: Linda Clemons; God-Father: Kenneth Evans; God-Sister: Terrica Moultry; Three God-brothers: LaDarris Castel, Terrell Hamilton and Kendrick Evans; a host of aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.
