Obituary for Louis "Mann" Freeman Jr
LOUIS FREEMAN JR., affectionately known as "Mann", was born to Lorene Freeman and Louis Freeman Sr. on April 27, 1976 in Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia. He was the second oldest child born to this union. Louis Jr. confessed CHRIST as his SAVIOR at an early age and joined Union Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend C. D. Hammonds. He sang in the Junior Choir, served as a Junior Deacon and as Vice President of the Junior Department of the Whigham District Union, and was an original member of the Union Missionary Baptist Mass Choir. Louis Jr. attended the public schools of the Decatur County School System, including Jones-Wheat Elementary and Bainbridge High Schools. He received his General Education Diploma (GED) on December 22, 1992. "Mann" furthered his education by attending two years at Bainbridge College, studying Electrical Engineering. Louis Jr. was a man of many trades and talents. His passion was playing pool. He entered and won numerous pool tournaments, but his most joyous moment was whenever he won a pool game against the person who taught him how to play, his father. Well known for his jovial personality, Louis Jr. was always encouraging and inspiring others. He loved telling his "side of the story". He enjoyed bragging on his sisters and talking about his mother. Louis Jr. was employed by Options Unlimited, Inc. in Hartford, Connecticut as a Residential Manager.
