Obituary for Maggie B. Conyers
A Special Woman
Life Reflections
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. Colossians 3:16
Early Sunday morning March 7, 2021 Maggie departed this life. She answered a call that we all one day will answer. “And as it is appointed unto me once to die but after this the judgment.” Hebrews 9:27
Sister Maggie Bradwell-Conyers “Big Ma” was born to the late Maggie M. Gunn April 17, 1958 in Greensboro, FL. She was the oldest of seven siblings.
She accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age. She joined Pine Bloom Baptist Church in Greensboro, FL. She realized she loved singing so she decided to join FACTS Church under the late Bishop Terry Fitzgerald. Although she had a metal plate in head and was in a coma for months, and a small windpipe, the Lord continued to allow her to shine in the light of his Glory.
She attended public school in Greensboro, FL. Sister Maggie was an Assistant Coach for the Volleyball that won three straight District Champs, Assistant Track coach, Manager of Basketball team state champs in 2017 and won over 100 trophies playing in softball tournaments.
During that sports run, she met the man of her dreams. She was joined in holy matrimony on February 24, 1996 to Cedric A. Conyers. They spent 28 years together and to this union four children were born: Dana, LaQueesha, Shanele and Keisha.
Sister Maggie leaves to cherish her memories husband: Cedric A. Conyers, children: Dana, LaQueesha, Shanele and Keisha; Six siblings: Brenda Fitzgerald, Bobby Peterson, Stephanie, Tracy, Tesra and Emory. Three grandchildren: Phillips Bradwell, Essence Bradwell and Myla Conyers; Five great grandchildren; Jordan, Paris, Princess Lenora, Zuelia and Voya; Special nieces: Slavoia and Tamra; special Nephews; Charis and Cayden; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing family and friends.
