Major “Judge” Quick Jr., was born on December 19, 1949 to the late Major Quick, Sr. and Pearline Quick in Donalsonville, Georgia.
He departed this life on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.
“Judge” as he was faithfully known by to all, attended school in Seminole County. He enjoyed watching wrestling, showing off his wrestling moves, fishing, spending time outdoors...relaxing under his favorite shady tree and enjoying the company of his family and friends.
He is predeceased by his wife; Nadie Quick; his parents Major Sr. and Pearline Quick; Siblings; Dorothy Quick, Gloria Reynolds, Author Quick and Ann Quick.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Daughters: Tracy Washington (Lamar), of Atlanta, GA; Angela “Champ” Quick Coleman (JD) of Rochester, NY; Jennifer “Snap” Quick of Rochester, NY; and Cassandra “ Jimmy” Quick of Rochester, NY; Five Grandchildren: Phillip L. Gamble Jr. of Germany; Darryl R. Gamble, Shaniqua L. Daniels both of Atlanta, GA; James Cameron Coleman and JaiMarie Nadine Coleman both of Rochester, NY; Three Great grandchildren: Jayden, Ashton and Destiny all of Atlanta, GA; Siblings: Evelyn Robinson of Atlanta, GA; Ronald James Quick (Vera), Lester Quick and Dewayne Quick all of Donalsonville, GA; Gregory Quick (Ivy) of Rochester, NY; Vivian Fagg of Quincy, FL; Close Friend: Perry Sweet; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family member and friends including his Mobile City family.
He will forever be remembered for his famous catch phrase ”Ungawa” (adopted from his favorite Tarzan movie) which meant whatever he wanted it to mean at that time (come here; “stop”, “sit down” etc.) and was known for his famous, exclamatory nantra “Wooooo!!!” that he assumed from one of his favorite pro wrestlers “The Nature Boy: Ric Flair and made it his own.
Judge will be deeply missed also by all who knew him.
