She was a loyal member (over 41 years), at Burke Avenue Baptist Church, Bronx, New York. Upon her retirement from Wartburg Nursing Home, she moved to St Petersburg, Florida where she became a member of 1st Mt Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, from 2000-2005. She became a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist from November 13, 2005 until February 2019, when she moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana after the death of her oldest son, Ed. Upon moving to Tallahassee, Florida in February 2022, she became a member of Christ Tabernacle-The Living Word in Bainbridge, Georgia, where she was a loyal member of the Mother’s Board until her death.
