Sister Mary Alice Henderson was born January 16, 1946 to the late Jack and Margaret Gibson in Decatur County, GA. She received her heavenly wings on April 4, 2017.
She confessed CHRIST and joined New White Spring Missionary Baptist Church. She was educated in the Mitchell County School system and employed by the Mitchell County Hospital. She was well loved by those who knew her and was a very good cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband Doc Henderson and her siblings: James Gibson, Charles Gibson, Betty Kemp and Shirley Rogers.
She leaves to cherish her memories children: Betty Ann Butler, Janice Canise Sanders, Zackary Johnson and Dorothy Henderson; Siblings: Hattie (William) Jackson, Bobby (Elenor) Gibson, Linda (Thomas) Pounsel, Annie (Jimmy) Harvey and Willie Gibson; a special grandson: Arthur Jones III; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
