Obituary
Michael was born on December 29, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York and he was adopted by Mrs. Willie Mae Johnson.
A proud product of the Seminole County School System and Decatur County School System, he graduated in 1974. His academic journey was not just a testament to his intellectual abilities but also a reflection of his commitment to personal growth and excellence.
He embarked on a fulfilling career at Amoco Fabric. His dedication and work ethic were an inspiration to his colleagues, and his contributions to the company were invaluable for twenty plus years.
Michael was a dedicated member of Nelson Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church. He served on several boards and performed many duties within the church that included: Steward, Sons of Allan, Choir, Lay Organization, Trustee, Usher, Pastor Aide, Church Van Driver, and Sunday Worship Church Announcer.
A passionate sports enthusiast, he found solace and excitement in the world of sports. His love for football was evident in his unwavering support for both the San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers. He celebrated their victories with joy and faced their defeats with unwavering loyalty. His enthusiasm for sports extended to basketball, with the Boston Celtics holding a special place in his heart. He followed their games with keen interest, his spirit uplifted by the thrill of the game.
Mike loved playing pool and shopping. (Loved to dress). But more than his achievements and passions, it was his character that truly defined him. He was a beacon of kindness and generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand. His infectious smile and warm heart touched the lives of everyone he met.

Mike leaves to cherish his memory of adopted brothers: Tommy Williams and Charlie Williams both of Bainbridge, GA; and a host of sorrowing family and friends.
