Mr. Norwood Phillippee was born on January 11, 1929 to Preston and Ella Jackson.
He received his education in the Decatur County Public School System. He served in the U.S. Army and was later employed at Engelhard Minerals and Bainbridge, State Hospital.
He married Ruth Lynette Screen Phillippee and this union blessed them with one son, Norwood Phillippee, Jr. Years later he married Annie Grace Walton Phillippee and that union was blessed with a daughter, Rosalyn Denise Phillippee.
He was preceded in death by his spouses, daughter, a son, his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
Survivors to cherish his memories son: Larry Good; granddaughter: Ashley Grace Hicks; sister: Gertrude Phillippee of Ft. Lauderdale FL; devoted niece: Sammie L. Battle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing family and friends.
