~Obituary~
Mrs. Ossie Lee Thompson was born April 6, 1935 to the late Charlie Baulkmon and the late Hannah Tomlin Sykes. She was called to her eternal resting place on August 17, 2021.
Mrs. Thompson confessed to Christ at an early age and was a member of the First A.B.Church where she served faithfully for many years.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Education in1959 at Albany State College. Later, she completed a Master’s degree at the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Education.
Mrs. Thompson was a retired educator after 36 years and touched the lives of many students within the community.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Louis D. Thompson. She leaves to cherish her memories of three sons: Larry Jerome Clark (Shirley), Thomas Clark Jr. (Maria) and Patrick Clark; One daughter: Patricia Isom (James); a devoted friend: Sharon Pate; six grandchildren: Shirmil White, Shirelle Clark, Brittany Johnson, Thomas Clark III, Andrew Nix and Alan Nix; four great-grandchildren: Kaylin, Richard, Kamryn and Brooke; sister: Lucy Lee and a host of nieces, nephews, caregivers, and sorrowing family and friends.
