Obituary for Ray Hunter, Sr.
OBITUARY
Brother Ray Hunter Sr. was born on October 29, 1929 to the late Joe Hunter & Pallie Mae Thompson. Ray departed this life on August 5, 2023 in Gainesville, Florida.
He accepted Christ at an early age. Ray met and married Eddie Ree Tucker, and to this union seven children were born.
Two children preceded him in death, Eddie Frank Hunter and Gloria Ann Hunter; two sisters: Hattie Mae Hunter and Queen Esther Henry; nephew: Jerry Henry
He leaves to cherish his memories: (1) son: Ray Hunter Jr. (Clara) and (5) daughters: Linda Edwards (Rommie), Dianne Fagg (Stanley Sr.), MaryAnn Hunter (whom was his amazing, nurturing, and loving caretaker), Melanie Alls (Terry Sr.), (1) Adopted God daughter: Pastor Fayetta Thomas (David); (1)nephew: Hosea Henry(Christine) niece: Patricia Henry; A special friend of the family: (Melinda Smith). One special devoted cousin: Leroy Hunter and the Hunter Family from Tampa Fl; Thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren whom he loved so much, and have instilled so much into their lives. He also leaves to cherish a host of loving cousins, family, and friends.
