Obituary for Reatha Mae Baldwin
Mrs. Reatha Mae Baldwin was born January 18, 1934 to the late Mr. Idus Jenkins and Marie Perry Jenkins. She was educated in the public schools of Brinson Vocational High School. She was converted and baptized accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at Lamar Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Reatha Mae Baldwin, Sr. and to that union four children were born. Following a suddenly illness, Mrs. Reatha Mae Baldwin departed her life on July 9, 2015. Mrs. Reatha Mae Baldwin was a very dedicated mother and grandmother to her family. She leaves to mourn her passing a devoted husband, four children, sisters, brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Mrs. Reatha Mae Baldwin leaves her precious memories with those who knew her. Her motherly love and teaching touched so many lives and forever cherished by: Children:Janice B. Whiting (daughter) of Bainbridge, GA; Sons: Watt Jr. (Francia Baldwin), & Harold Earl (Gwen Baldwin) of Smyrna, GA; John E. Baldwin of Bainbridge, GA. Grandchildren: Talya Lewis, Latauisha (Albert Wills), Michael Johnson, April Lewis, Brittany N. Woodruff, Jondavia S. McIntyre, Justin Baldwin, Jasmine Baldwin, Adrian Jakes, Rasheed Jakes, JoHaun Evans, & Tadarius Moore. Great- Grandchildren: LaVante Lewis, Olivia Huntley, Ashley Willis, Kennedy Willis, Peyton Willis, Amiracle Hines, & Justin Baldwin. Great Great- Grandchild: Shelby N. Sheffield Brothers: Idson (Hazel) of Eufula, AL., Charles of Miami, FL. Sisters:Annett, & Debra of Bainbridge, GA., Lorene of Augusta, GA. Mary, Bobbie Mae, & Frances of Miami, FL., & Eddierea (Donald Merkison) of Apoka, FL. Brother -in-Lawd: Rufus (Eula Baldwin) of Bainbridge, GA. & Luscious (Daisy Emmers) of Miami, FL. A host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
