Obituary for Robert R. Cannon "Cannonball"
I got myself together cause I got somewhere to go. And I'm praying when I get there I see everyone I know. I wanna go to heaven." A Time To Be Born: Robert R. Cannon, Jr. was born to the late Robert R. Cannon, Sr. and Wynnee Carter Shaw. (1) sister, (1) niece, and (1) nephew preceded him in death, Janet Anderson, April Williams, and Courtney Anderson. A Time To Sow: Robert R. Cannon, Jr. received his education in the public school systems in Decatur County. He received his diploma from Bainbridge High School in 1996. He was employed at ETC until his untimely death. A Time To Embrace: Robert R. Cannon, Jr. meet Mrs. Arlesa Anderson, the love of his life in 1996 and in 1998 became the proud parents of one daughter, Robin Andera Cannon whom he loved and cherished. A Time To Serve: He accepted Christ at an early age and joined St. Paul P.B. Church under the leadership of the late Reverend R.H. Jackson and later Pastor J.O. Caldwell. Always willing to lend a helping hand, He touched many lives and made us laugh, even when we did not feel like it. He had a zest for driving semi-trucks and a zest for life. He was a devoted son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Well Done Servant of God-Take Your Rest "Favorite Phase" Really A Time To Rejoice: He leaves to cherish his "AWESOME" memories, his devoted and loving mother, Wynnee Shaw; a beautiful and loving daughter, Robin Andera Cannon; (2) brothers, Charles Shaw of Bainbridge, GA and Gregory Anderson of St. Petersburg, FL; (6) sisters, Deborah Anderson, Harriett Anderson Williams (Nathaniel) of Bainbridge, GA, Chandra Anderson Casteel (Bobby) of Fowlstown, GA, Marion Anderson of Clearwater, FL, Phyllis Anderson of Attapulgus, GA, and Sonja Shaw of Tallahassee, FL; (4) aunts, Willie Faye Simmons (Jimmy), Dorothy Smith (George), Addie Rogers all of Fowlstown, GA, and Sue Cannon of Fayetteville, TN; (1) uncle, George Carter (Inez) of Attapulgus, GA; (14) nephews, Michael, Charles Jr., Brad, Phillip, Herschel, Teshaunski (Renee), Thundero, Trey, Jarvis, Orlando, Edward, Gregory, Shaun, and Shane; (10) nieces, Fran (Eric), Tracy, Pennie (Eddrick), Alexzondrya, Rosalyn, Stacy, Shea, Shoniqua, O'Derricka and Kayla; (1) great aunt, Mrs. Ruth McGee; god-parents Rev. Jimmy and Willie Faye Simmons; god-father, Dec. George Smith; (3) god-brothers, Michael Hamilton (Tomeika), Danyel Green, and Johnny Tatum; (2) god-sisters, Maureen and Noreen McGee; (4) best friends, Carlos Hughes, Rodney Frazier, Antonio Jones, and LaMerrio Casteel; mentor Pastor Johnny Brown; and a huge host of cousins, great nieces, nephews, and friends.
