Obituary for Rosie Lee Miller
—Obituary—
You wonder why I went away, and didn’t say goodbye,
I couldn’t bear to tell you, for it hurts to see you cry.
My ship came in with beautiful deceit,
For the Captain was King Jesus and He softly beckoned to me.
I ran across the leeway and fell down at His feet
He gently took me in His arms; my rest is now complete.
ROSIE LEE MILLER, the daughter of Percel and Annie Louise Grimsley Miller, was born on August 19, 1965 in Colquitt, Georgia.
At an early age, she joined Pilgrim Rest A.M.E. Church. She attended school in Miller County and was a 1983 graduate from Miller County High School.
In 1989, Rosie Lee and Elree Bush were blessed with one beautiful daughter, Ashley Nicole Miller (Brandon "Pete").
Rosie Lee worked at Williamson Dickies and Helen’s for many years. She also acquired a passion for doing hair. Her latest employment was Super B, which she left in order to help care for her father.
On the blessed evening of September 13, 2017, Rosie Lee Miller answered her FATHER’S precious call at SAMC, Dothan, AL. She was preceded in death by two of her sisters, Vernette Burney and Lashanda Miller.
