Rovesiah Denise Jackson, “Peaches” as she was affectionally called by her family and close friends, was born on May 20, 1976 in Bainbridge, Georgia to Juno Jackson and Bernaldyne Casteel Hamilton.

She received Christ at an early age and later became a member of the Second St. James Missionary Baptist Church.

Rovesiah attended the public schools in Decatur County. She graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1995. Upon graduation she attended Bainbridge College and studied nursing. Rovesiah was employed by Cato’s Fashion for 12 years. She served as the manager of the Cato’s store located in Bainbridge, Georgia.
A Time for Rest
On Sunday September 20, 2020, our Heavenly Father called Rovesiah to rest. She was proceeded in death by her daughter, Brittney Jackson; her grandparents, Mr. David Jackson, Mr. William Casteel, and Mrs. Sarah Casteel, her aunts Ms. Alesia Jackson and Mrs. Lora Thompson, and her brother Mr. Dontae Jackson.
A Lifetime of Memories for Us to Cherish
Roveshiah leaves to cherish her memories a devoted son Ijhal De’Undrea Jackson. Her parents Mr. Juno Jackson and Mrs. Bernaldyne (James) Casteel Hamilton. A loving and devoted grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Jackson. Six devoted sibling Tiffany (Linval) Sterling, Andrea (Shakitta) Jackson, Shavonn Simmons, Damion (Brittany) Hamilton, Juno (Joi)Simmons, and Anthony (Shauntel) Simmons. One aunt Angelia (Dewayne) Gainous; five uncles David (Mary) Jackson, Kenneth (Cassandra) Jackson, William Casteel, Bobby (Chandra) Casteel, and Danny Casteel. A loving and devoted Friend, Yvonne Griffin and a host of loving great- aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends.
