A Celebration of Life of Shirley Ann Hall Clark
Shirley Hall Clark was born in Americus, GA on March 26, 1956. She is the daughter of the late Sylvester Hall and Cora Mae Hall. She is the 4th child of 10 sisters and brothers. Shirley was peacefully called to her eternal resting place on August 20, 2022.
Shirley confessed Christ at an early age and she was an active member of the First A.B. Church on Webster Street. She spearheaded a variety of programs involving members of the community. She served faithfully in many church activities until she became ill.
She was a 1974 graduate of Monroe High School in Albany, Georgia. After graduation, she enrolled at Albany State College where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Grade Education. Shirley also received a Master of Science Degree in MIddle Grade Education from Georgia State University. She taught Math and served as an instructional leader 35 years before retiring.
Shirley Clark leaves to cherish her memories a nurturing husband, Larry Clark, two daughters Shirelle Clark, of Atlanta, Ga., and Shirmil Clark (Richard) White, of Suwanee Ga; three grandchildren Kamryn, RJ., and Kaylin. She also leaves five sisters, Pinkie Hall Hutchins of Tallahassee, Fl; Johnnie Mae Hall of Atlanta, GA; Jeanette Hall (Frank) Lucas, Pamela Hall (Leonard) Bell, and Debbie Hall Jefferson all of Albany, Ga. Four brothers, Sylvester Hall, Jr., and Russell (Jackie) Hall both of Atlanta, Ga; Marvin (Patrica) Hall of Albany, Ga; and Reginald (Karen) Hall of Columbia, South Carolina. She also leaves two brothers-in-law, Thomas (Maria) Clark, Jr., Patrick Clark (Sharon Pate, a devoted friend), and one sister-in- law Patricia (James) Isom all of Bainbridge Ga., as well as a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
