Obituary for Ulyessee Holland Sr.
Elder Ulyesee "Jim" Holland at the age of 82 passed away on Thursday, August 25th at South Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Ulysee "Jim" was born on March 22, 1940 in Early County to the late Lemon Holland and the late Lillie B. Bishop.
He confessed his life to Christ at an early age under the leadership of Apostle Isiah Revels until God led him to become the Senior Founder Pastor of Donalsonville Hollins with Evangelist Willie Mae Holland Co-Pastor where he served for over 40 years until his health changed.
He met his devoted loving wife the late Willie Mae Shuler and to this union 9 children were born: Mary Alice Adams of Donalsonville, GA; Willie (Shirley) C. Holland of Bainbridge, GA; Freddie Holland, Petra Hopkins, Jim Holland Jr., Ronnie Holland, Linda Gail, Fredrick Blanks, Ricky Holland all of Donalsonville, Ga; Tequisha Holland of Dothan, AL.
Late Ulyesee Holland Jr., A.C Holland, Marcus Wilson and Victor Adams preceded him in death.
Ulyesee Holland leaves his precious moments to 36 grandchildren. Host of great grands, He was a third generation grandfather.
Four sisters: Mary Francis Brown, Mary Orange both of Jakin, Ga; Linda Green and Bernice Green of Miami. Deceased: Marlene Green, Christine Barnhill, Martha Bryd, James Green, Edward Green.
Four brothers who preceded death: Charlie Holland, Fred Holland, James Green, Edward Green.
